About Jillian Lee Counseling

Welcome, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in both Washington and Oregon with more than 11 years of clinical experience. I have worked with individuals and families in a variety of therapeutic settings, including nearly a decade in New York City before relocating to the Pacific Northwest in 2018.

Many of the people I work with have spent years carrying experiences they never fully had the opportunity to process. Whether you’re healing from childhood trauma, sexual trauma, or the lasting effects of religious experiences, or navigating life without children or a partner in a world that often assumes marriage and parenthood are the expected path, therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater confidence and peace.

My practice focuses on trauma and the ways it impacts self-worth, relationships, and identity. I specialize in childhood trauma, sexual abuse and sexual trauma, religious trauma, attachment and relationship concerns, anxiety, and supporting women navigating life without children or a partner—whether by choice, infertility, circumstance, or another life path. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, accepted, and empowered to define fulfillment on their own terms.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe a trusting therapeutic relationship provides the foundation for meaningful change. I incorporate EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment-Based Therapy, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients heal, strengthen self-worth, and build an authentic life.
Whether you’re working through painful memories, questioning beliefs that no longer serve you, or searching for a stronger sense of identity and purpose, I’d be honored to support you on that journey.
